    Little help with Mondays Game

I am traveling 6 hours to go watch the Yankees in Kansas City on Monday with my wife who is a huge Jeter fan. I am kind of worried he hasnt sat a game in a while you think that might be his day off? Any chances A-Rod be back on Monday? And who do you think will pitch really hope I get to see Nova.

Not sure about A-Rod. Girardi said it's probable that he comes back for Aug. 18th. A bit unlikely that he'll come off the DL for that series but still possible.

I think Jeter will play but I'm not positive. They'll probably try to wait for A-Rod to be back before they rest Jeter so Nunez and Chavez are available to play the field.

Most likely that will be AJ's start but it is possible that Nova starts the game. I hope it's Nova too.

If they give Jeet a rest it will often be if there is a day game after a night game, or on turf.

How Rodriguez looks during his rehab assignment with Single-A Tampa this weekend will obviously go a long way toward determining his return date. Thursday still seems more likely than Monday. A-Rod last appeared in the Yankees lineup on July 7.
