Sestito - Betts - Nodl : Not a big fan of Nodl, but like Sestito on the 4th with Betts. Maybe insert Matt Read??

I have a few minor questions (not criticisms, I'm just curious why you placed certain players where):

1. Why did you place Schenn and JVR ahead of Jagr and Voracek in terms of on-ice vision and creativity?

2. For total goal scorers, why not list Giroux? He had 25 last season, and the potential seems there for him to net 30 or so next season.

Again, I'm just curious of the reasoning behind these choices.

1. Jagr would have been 5, but honestly he probably should have been 4 over Schenn. Jagr hasn't played NHL hockey for some time now. He'll probably need some time to knock off some rust and re acclimate himself with the game over here. Yes this may not have a whole lot to do with vision and creativity, but the ability to execute, off of what he sees and wants to do, will be a bit of a process (especially with new line mates). I think Jagr has a very good year for us.

I don't really know much about Voracek (haven't seen him play too much); I guess I could try and find some videos, but I'd rather just wait and watch him in a Flyers uni.

Guess I just gave Schenn the benefit of doubt for being the 'young talent'.

2. You are very correct Giroux could have been (and again prob should have) included. He obviously is a pass first player; I think this will keep him from getting too far over the 35 goal mark. He needs to improve at realizing when his shot is the better option then dumping the puck to someone else.
