The Winnipeg Jets added more veteran experience to their line-up, acquiring forward Eric Fehr from the Washington Capitals in exchange for forward Danick Paquette and a fourth-round pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
The 25-yer-old Fehr put up 10 goals and 10assists while racking up 16 penalty minutes in 52 games with the Capitals last season. In six seasons with the Washington Capitals, Fehr scored 46 goals and 47 assists over 230 NHL games.
Fehr was originally drafted by the Washington Capitals in the first round, 18th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
