    Erhoff to the Sabres

Buffalo landed Ehrhoff from NY for a fourth round pick. Dont look now boys, but were building a championship.

Assuming we sign him. If we do, who goes, Morrisonn or Sekera?

I would be very surprised if Darcy made the trade and didnt have a clue towards whether or not they can sign him.

Morrison is a goner. He is either playing his final year of his contract in Rochester or the Sabres may try to trade him to Vancouver or now maybe the Islanders.

My guess is Sykera and Mark Andre-Grangnani will split time, with the hot hand getting multiple starts in a row.

That is what happened thought, Ehroff's agent was on WGR550 this morning, and said Ehroff still had no clue his rights were traded to Buffalo.

Agent represents the player, but in the end it is Christian's call. He very well may want to test FA, he may have a team he knows he can go to and has his eye set on. Then again, Buffalo is no joke obviously and he may love the idea. Only time will tell....

lol what a horrible over payment for a one dimensional d man who will only net 40 pts a season.

Deals like this are meant for star players, not 2nd dmen..

sometimes you have to do what you have to do in order to get a player signed. The Sabres are finally active in free agency, and it is nice to see!

6 mil a season for the first 5 years isn't bad at all.
