    Anthony Stewart a UFA

I don't understand why Winnipeg has already given up on this guy he's only 26 and is coming off his best year (14g 25ast). Would have made a decent 3rd line forward IMO.

He could still be back. There is a possibilty that they're close to a deal right now. I really hope Anthony Stewart is back to this 'franchise'. He really broke out last season.

I don't see it as a huge loss he only tallied 39 points last season in 80 games not sure thats really breakout and only 51 in 185 career games i think that can be replaced. If they bring him back thats fine but i think hes easily replaceable imo.

Compared to his previous years, that's considered a breakout season.

You could also say compared to his previous years it could be considered a fluke lol

He plays tough too I thought he'd fit right in on winnipeg. Maybe he didn't want to play there.

Looks like he's going to hit the market, as he should, considering this super weak free agency.

But he needs to worry about himself here. I'd like to see him return to Winnipeg, but I feel he can make more in the open market.

He'll almost certainly make more in the open market. Which is ok by me, because I tend to reside in the camp that believes last year was more of a slight fluke than a breakout campaign. Ultimately he probably wouldn't be worth here what he'll get paid elsewhere.

    Brandon Marshall.

He really wants to play a game in January.

And he's gone to Carolina for 3.8 million over two seasons.
