    Perkins the only All Star???

Frankly, he deserves the honor, but I think Dozier could have been picked as well.

Dozier doesn't just lead the AL, but all of baseball (among 2B) in virtually every statistical category, yet Kipnis is selected...just based on the one category Brian isn't strong, BA? Yeah I don't buy it.

Also, the Red Sox needed a rep....but Ned Yost decided his 7th and 8th inning BP guys needed to both be there rather than (to many) the more logical Buchholz as the Boston rep..........and since he did that, Boston still needed a rep and it ended up being Brock Holt...who doesn't even have a position...or strong enough stats to otherwise be an All Star

I don't know how the players are selected for the 'Final' vote, but did we really need yet another Royal in there? And one who has a family emergency going on so likely needs the break more than most?
    gotta love 'referential' treatment
