So It had been a while since I bought some Hockey cards so I figured I would get a few packs and see if I still had my sixth sense when snuffing out the goods. I bought 4 packs and the topper, I hit on all 4 packs but was disappointed that 3/5 items were that of Canucks players

1. Roberto LOLongo Jersey Card
2. Ryan Kesler Jersey Card
3. Henrik Sedin Jumbo Topper

The best card I got was a Jimmy Howard autograph that will be worth $30 if I'm lucky (I spent $50 for the 4 packs

) I was really hoping for that Seguin autograph

Damn...cards are so expensive. I'm gonna show my age here but I remember Topps cards being .50 and came with the stale stick of gum

Ya it's crazy, you can still get cheap packs but the odds of getting anything valuable near impossible.

Walmart Pack - $1.99 (even the best pull maybe worth $15)
Avg Decent Hobby Pack - $5-$10 (slight upgrade over Walmart pack)
Avg Solid Hobby Pack - $15-25 (something good in every pack)
Avg Amazing Hobby Pack - $50-$100 (guarantee to get something amazing)

It's not hard now a days to rack up a quick $50 to open a few packs. It's is also no hard to pull out autos and jersey now as they seem to be coming more like commons.

Was watching Fallon the other night and he and Bob Costas were opening up some old school packs and Fallon was talking about getting the lineup cards and how much he hated those. Remember them? It's like why? Also, I saw some of my cards the other day and saw Jim Fregosi "Manager" highly doubt they still produce manager cards.

actually in the packs I bought they do have a behind the bench sigs. CJ was one of them
