And Owners lying about their finances? Hard to believe.
The addition of Billups in that trade made me want Melo less than I already did. Agreed. Who the hell wanted Billups?

Sign and trade Hump for Josh Smith. Hump did play great defense and was a phenominal rebounder, but his lack of offense hurt us. Josh Smith will be able to produce offensively, while also playing great defense.

Kris Humphries was not close to being considered a great defender last season. He occasionally had some good plays on defense, that's it.

Kris played very good straight up defense last season.

    I disagree.

He had trouble staying in front of the quicker 4's on the perimeter and while the post up 4s didn't really back him down that easily, he did commit a lot of dumb fouls.

The most important aspect of a Big Man's Defense IMO is rotating and he is terrible at it.

He does have trouble defending the quicker PFs on the perimeter. Many PFs have that problem, but Humph did the best he could.

Didn't see that many stupid fouls.

And the Nets defensive scheme sucked last year.

Avery needs to seriously get these guys to play serious defense in a serious defensive scheme.
