Thankyou someone with some common sense. This is what ive trying to tell them, why wait, we got so many trade pieces right now it's crazy, I personally don't know if they will do any trades, but they are right we won't get any FAs unless we overpay them by some certain amount.

I say start trading now or next year, here is our trading pieces, ps the TPE expires soon so they need to use it;

New Orleans 2nd round

Miami 1st round pick
Orlando 2nd round pick

Orlando 2nd round pick

Miami 1st round pick

Players; Hickson, Sessions, Jamison, and Varejao. That's from highest to least value.

And they got the TPE of course of which is 14.6 mill.

They have all this and their own picks that are very good for tother teams until 3 years if we start trading.

Thoughts on this, anyone else with Champ2Champ and I?

That's 13 picks in 4 years, they have to do something. You can't have that many picks in 4 tees or they are a bust, you gotta trade them with other pieces to get a Rudy Gay and Josh Smith.

Stop talking about building through the draft! This isnt the NFL. There is a reason the same teams are in the lottery year after year. OKC landed a 1 in a million player with Durant and followed that up by landing another stud in Westbrook. There are way more busts in the NBA draft then there are successes. If we wait to have a OKC draft the Cavs wont be winning for a long long time. We got Irving and hopefully Barnes next year. We are going to have to make some Trades and FA moves or this is going to be a bad team for a long time. You cant rely on Barnes or Irving turning out to be Westbrook /Durant. Get your 2 guys and start adding pieces now

Please then tell me who they are going to get. I dont think you know this but no one wants to come to Cleveland via Free Agency especially this young of a team now unless they overpay which Gilbert will probably do. Trade pieces. Who are they going to get in a trade? Rudy Gay...not right now. Josh Smith...wait dont we have a younger Josh Smith in Thompson now.

Please someone realistically tell me how they can win without building through the draft now. We had Lebron b4 which made players want to come to Cleveland to play with him. Sorry Irving will not do that. Hopefully he does but will probably be three years. Barnes hopefully next year we can get and those two with Thompson can be a future where players want to come. Not right now though.

So please someone tell me without being homers how to rebuild right now.

And please someone bring Dwight Howard up again.

Listen, I dont know what the deal is and either does anyone else on here. All Cavs and I are saying is. You have Hickson, Sessions, Varajao some picks and an owner who is willing to take on salary at all cost. In the financial state of the league and 75% of the teams in this league there has to be deals out there to be made. Their are stars to be had and Thompson hasnt improved his jumpshot in 15 years playing basketball what makes you think its going to change in the pros. He is a specialist role player at best.

True, and you got TPE, you didn't list that. And also I think Thompson will be a good role player to, 8 pts, 6 rebs, 1.5 blk each game, not as good as Hickson but a good piece to have on your team.

Ok, we got our point guard, we have PFs done the line, all we need now is a C that can compete and a SF or SG. And players I'm looking at is Al Jefferson and Rudy Gay, if you like it or not. These players can make us a 6 seed, know that's not good place to be, but in a few years when Boston isnt up there and team gels, and it's better than Orlando and Atlanta after another mid 1st to help. I think they can compete with Heat, Knicks, Bulls and so on.

Who are the same teams? The Wolves? Not every team is in the lottery every year. REBUILDING TEAMS like the Cavs will be (and hopefully) for the next few years.
If you draft well you can get some STUDS. Next years draft is loaded with talent. Durant isn't a 1 and a million player. He's very talented but it's possible to get a player near his caliber if we're smart in the draft.
We have no choice. We have to wait. We have to develop our 19 yr old and 20 yr old player. They're not ready to go to the NBA finals. Not as team leaders. And like I said if we draft wisely it should be around 5 years. I've said this before the worst thing is to be an 8th seed and one and done in the playoffs each year. I don't want to be the sixers. Do you? Then you really won't get any solid draft picks.
How do you know how good Irving or Barnes will be? You haven't seen them play yet. Irving is also a more true PG unlike Westbrook who was a chucker during this last playoffs. So it's very possible that Irving will be better than Westbrook.
Some of you are really panicking and rushing this team. Thank god management is smarter than that.

Who are these crazy pieces that we have outside of J.J. Hickson? No one is taking the TPE. We've got 2 days left. Why overpay some washed up Vet. Let our players develop!

The only way this team will be really good immediately is if they can swing some sort of Miami Big 3 trade and that's just not happening in Cleveland. Even if we get Rudy Gay we're an 8th seed. Thank you for having common sense. I just dont think some people get it. The worst thing the mothership did was create the trade machine. Now people put in crap and expect gold cause they think they are GM answers.

And also Rudy Gay didn't even play the end to half of the season and GRIZ got 8th seed. Why would they trade him when guess what, they will be even better next year by keeping him. If anyone goes on that team it is Mayo and maybe Gasol if he pulls a BOOZER on them.
