Oakland Athletics @ New York Mets

    JUNE 21 - 23

    BALLPARK DIMENSIONS

    TEAM STATS

33-40 (.452) - LAST IN THE AL WEST
    AWAY: 14-24, LAST 10: 6-4

    35-37 (.486) - 3RD IN THE NL EAST
    HOME: 16-19, LAST 10: 5-5

    TUESDAY, JUNE 21, 7:10 PM - SNY

    (0-0, -.-- ERA vs NYM)
    vs

    (0-0, -.-- ERA vs OAK)

ATHLETICS: Outman hurled seven innings of scoreless ball against the Royals, holding them to four hits during his outing. He only struck out two and walked just as many en route to earning the A's rotation its first win in June. He lowered his ERA to 3.14.
METS: Rain cut short Gee's bid for an eighth consecutive victory last Wednesday in Atlanta, though the right-hander did submit four scoreless innings of one-hit ball. He'll look to remain undefeated against the A's, a team he has never faced.

    WEDNESDAY, JUNE 22, 7:10 PM - WPIX

    (0-0, -.-- ERA vs NYM)
    vs

    (1-4, 6.49 ERA vs OAK)

ATHLETICS: Gonzalez battled flu-like symptoms the last time out. The southpaw threw six innings and fanned 10 Royals -- reaching double-digit strikeouts for the third time in his career -- while limiting the Royals to two runs on five hits.
METS: Dickey grooved a 3-0 fastball to Chipper Jones and paid for it last Thursday in Atlanta, giving up three of his six runs on one swing. He'll look to return to form against the A's, a club that hit him hard during their last meeting in 2009.

    THURSDAY, JUNE 23, 1:10 PM - WPIX

    (0-0, -.-- ERA vs NYM)
    vs

    (0-0, -.-- ERA vs OAK)

    ATHLETICS: N/A
METS: Capuano pitched well, but was foiled by bad defense behind him in six innings vs. the Angels. He gave up three runs, but one came on a throwing error by Justin Turner and another after Jose Reyes bobbled a chopper that should have ended an inning.

I've noticed the more polls I skip, the quicker I rise in the standings.
i think Im going to stick to that strategy
"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."

A's offense is 37 year old Hideki Matsui plus they've been struggling, Mets sweep the boys from Oaktown.

I've voted on a handful of polls and I think I have the same amount of wins or more than RR and Metsbulls.

I'm flumoxxed. I could have sworn we would have taken 2/3 from the Orange County Angels.

We take 2/3 from A's to balance our homestand at 3-3.

    It's a three game series.
    Matt Harvey - 8-2; 2.37 ERA; 94 K's; 76.0 Inning.

We should take this series. Lousy team at home with no DH for the AL team. But we should've taken the Angels series under the same rationale and we know how that worked out.
