Seeing a lot of rumors and reports some from other Arkansas commits that are talking to him/ recruiting him that Kirkland has picked Arkansas and is just waiting till signing day to announce.

Yeah, but from what I've read, Golden pulled Kirkland scholarship citing poor grades (which wasn't true, based on everything that has been released) and BTW's coach is absolutely furious.

It's time for some damage control, or else Miami will have burned a bridge to one of the best high school programs in south Florida.

First college football game I ever watched was Miami Nebraska back in 01/02 so always been interested in seeing them do good. Not necessarily a fan, just like it more when they are good and like to see them succeed.

#99 in the ESPN top 150, Quinton Powell, was down to USC and UF and apparently just had his scholarship offer pulled by UF. He tweeted "Did that jus happen?? Can't trust nobody .. I hate them now straight up".

supposedly he was being a real diva with his recruitment, so muschamp and co. had had enough... his tweet is pretty funny, though

Yeah, I'd be shocked if everything they're doing is legitimate. I'm not trying to be mean to people who live in Mississippi, but I don't get the vibe that recruits are dying to live in that state. I heard Hugh Freeze complained on Twitter about the accusations, which is pretty funny. Ole Miss' recruiting uptick kind of reminds me of Baylor's recruiting uptick in basketball.

UF called and told him they didn't have room for him which means we probably got a silent commit today.

It's Powell's own fault though. He decommitted a month or so ago when we got a commitment from another linebacker (I don't remember who, maybe Max Rolin). He's just recently narrowed his choices back down to Florida and USC. But he had a scholarship when he was committed before so if he hadn't been scared away by the fear of competition, he wouldn't have to "hate" anyone.

I'd be okay with losing Collins if they make Sony Michel their #1 priority next season. That kid has been D1 ready since his freshman year.

having gone to UF and taken several classes in which countless (prominent) student-athletes were sitting right next to me... i'd beg to differ

do they go to every class? no. but it's not like these kids get carte blanche to do whatever they want and skip all the time.

at least our kids aren't dumb enough to believe they're in a serious long-distance relationship with a nonexistent person who's dying of leukemia, then lie about it months after they found out they were duped...
