    Top 25 hip-hop soundtracks

    http://www.complex.com/pop-culture/2...ks-of-all-time

The article is old but I thought it might be fun to discuss. Back in the early 90s and later into the decade, soundtracks were must-haves.

You had Juice, Menace, Above the Rim, Murder Was the Case, Gang Related, etc

    What were your faves?

    All great West Coast albums....

I own these off the list:
    Rush Hour
    How High
    Scarface (Def Jam album)
    American Gangster
    The Wood
    The Corruptor
    Paid in Full

I still bump all of em and just remembered Any Given Sunday soundtrack which I just found a couple days ago....yes!

Above the Rim is my fav from that list..
Dogg Pounds 'Big Pimpin' and Warren's 'Regulate' & it was basically another Deathrow Album.

'Don't Be A Menace' soundtrack was also dope with west/east coast influence.

I always found the 2 tracks by CPO/Boss Hogg on AtR and MWtC to be highly undervalued.

I also love Blowed Away by B. Rezell from AtR. That was my **** back then.

Pretty sure Devante produced majority of AtR soundtrack, and he was usually golden with Death Row!

    A young Timbo.....

Tim tracks were so nice, but too me, the talent he produced for weren't all there in Da Brat, Missy, Ginuwine, and Aaliyah really hurt Tim the most. He was going to take off with her being top singer and youth until the accident.
