Not sure if this is the place to post this or not but....
Anyone know of any good free software available for download that i can use to cut and mix music? I need to make mix of songs for some dance thing for a friend of mine. anyone know of anything? preferably something that is easy for retarded people like me to use.

Its free and works on both systems, not the most advanced software though.

beat me to it. yes, audacity is probably one of the most basic programs that does it. knock yourself out on taking out the vocals or simply cut, fade, etc.
