I love Trick R' Treat. Not scary, but exceedingly entertaining.

Yea totally forgot about Trick r Treat. Pretty solid horror movie also.
I enjoyed Dead Silence. Copycat with Sigourney Weaver & Holly Hunter is pretty good though it's probably not a "true" horror movie.

This right here is an absolute must see for any horror fan. Not only outstanding for a horror film but amazing for a film in general. I would like to add Martyrs as well which is another french film that was great. As previously mentioned I really liked the Collector as well, saw it in theaters and fell in love.

Can't it be both? It fits under both genres.

And what are these two movies about? I can't seem to open up another webpage right now.

i was literally twisting and contorting my body, only watching through the cracks of my fingers to try and somehow shield myself from what i saw.
thats how brutal Inside really is.

i liked Martyrs too, but not as much as a Horror movie. i think people sometimes confuse gore with horror. i don't think Martyrs is any more a Horror movie than say - Black Swan. but yea, like somebody else said, that movie isn't for everybody its totally ****ed up. great movie, though.

Raidaz, have you seen Funny Games. it has similarities to both French films we mentioned in that its really violent and its a pretty darn good flick from start to finish.

Inside is about a home invasion. a widowed pregnant woman trying to survive the night vs her intruder.

Martyrs is hard to put into words.

    If you want newer school:
    [REC]
    A Tale of Two Sisters
    Trick 'r Treat
    Martyrs
    In a Glass Cage
    The Devil's Backbone
Some of these are probably borderline horror but all worth checking out IMO

    If you want older school:
    Kwaidan (1964)
Black Christmas (Probably in my Top 10 of all time)
    Who Can Kill a Child?
    Eyes Without a Face
    Let Sleeping Corpses Lie

Well add more as I think of them.

Isn't Funny games with two kids holding a family hostage or something? I've watched like twenty minutes before, and I believe it's on my netflix. I've never got around to watching it.

Martyrs was so twisted. Whoever mentioned Dead Silence I agree, that was a solid movie.

Another movie to consider is Zodiac. It's kind of a thriller/mystery but it's got some pretty creepy parts (especially if you're from San Francisco) and overall I thought it was a really good movie.

Uwe Boll movies are the worst and Leprechaun movies are close second

I've watched Leprechaun 6: Back to DA Hood .. There's like 7 on my netflix. I agree though, they are VERY stupid movies.
