    Luis Castillo

Would it be a good idea for the Jays to pick up Castillo to help out at 2nd if Hill is still hurt. He has had good #'s in the past. Just didn't have a good stint with the Mets.Mets will be paying him his $6 mill and the Jays could pick him up for the minimum . Put Mike McCoy as the back up LF

    Blue Jays forum bud.

To answer your question, if Aaron Hill gets hurt and needs living assistance (running errands around the house, helping him to the bathroom etc..) then Castillo can come in handy. Certainly not to play 2B.

Simple, 3 things need to happen:

    1. Someone wants people's opinion on Luis Castillo and this is a message board so its a good place to go for it.
    2. Some creates an account or logs into an existing one.
    3. They go the MLB be forum and click make new thread.

    Glad I could I help.

On a 1 yr min level deal, I can't see Castillo being a terrible option.

Last year he played pretty well for them I thought? Also he was a terrible option for them with the contract he had... For a minimum contract he is a low risk high reward contract.

What was meant for me will be Mine once again... THE CHAMP OF CHAMPS IS BACK

Last year he played like ****. The dude was injured all the time. He actually was out for two weeks because he doesn't know how to walk down dugout stairs appropriately. You are probably thinking about 2009 when he hit a bunch of slappy singles at a .300 clip. He is utter garbage.

I think it would make the Jays worse if they were to add Luis Castillo.

35 year old with diminishing skills and a negative WAR. Why?

He's not a SS or Catcher. Seems like the Jays would have a 2B in the minors that would have better upside.
