    Question Albet Pujols=LBJ in MLB??

Do you guys think if Albert Pujols leaves the Cardinals after this season it will have a Lebron James affect on baseball? Will teams trade their stars more often and willingly if they don't re-sign before the offseason they are to become free agents?
I realize in baseball this is already kind of common for smaller market teams or teams struggling at the trade deadline, but a player in a situation like Pujols or Joe Mauer last season isn't traded often/easily.
Arizona Cardinals 2013 PSD Mock Draft
38 Manti Te'o LB Notre Dame
    42 Zach Ertz TE Stanford
    54 Barrett Jones C Alabama
82 Da'Rick Rogers WR Tennessee Tech
    94 Aaron Dobson WR Marshall
    126 Denard Robinson RB Michigan
165 Vinston Painter OT Virginia Tech
    176 Oday Aboushi OG Virginia
    196 Landry Jones QB Oklahoma
200 LaAdrian Waddle OT Texas Tech
    217 Jeff Locke P UCLA
    219 Brett Maher K Nebraska
    224 Luke Ingram LS Hawaii
    238 Ray Polk S Colorado
Drafted every position the Cards did.

are you kidding me? Albert Pujols is a very nice respected individual with class. Lebron James is a douche bag. They and their possible departures for big contracts with other teams is not even close to comparable.

No one gave a **** about LBJ leaving to go to a different team, its how he did it...how he handled it and how he snubbed the Cavs in doing it. What a ****ing douche bag.

Albert Pujols would NEVER handle himself or his business that way. He isn't an idiot like Lebron James.

Lets just put it this way; if Albert Pujols wasn't good at baseball, he would probably be your boss. If Lebron James weren't good at basketball, he would be serving you fries.

^^this and also he wouldn't have a sportscenter special to announce where hes going

for the trades you already said it...if a star is unlikely to resign or his contract is too big for a team then they deal them...this is more common in baseball than basketball imo...A-Rod, Tiexeira, matt holliday, miguel cabrera.....just some examples

Well Pujols has won it all, he won't have a special, and probably the biggest difference is that St. Louis is one of the best franchises in MLB and the Cavs are one of the worst(STL was huge before Pujols and will be huge after, CLE was garbage before Lebron and is now garbage again)

    It ain't easy being sleezy

No. LeBron James has always been a douche bag who has no values what so ever. Albert is a well repsected man, If he gives you his word about something he will do it. If he leaves St.Louis he will still be respected, People will be upset but he'll still be respected for how he respected them

    no

the NBA is nothing like the MLB, it takes more than an Albert to win.

And he isn't treating 'the decision' like a douche like LBJ
