Congrats my friend! It makes me feel good to see that I'm leaving the forum in good hands. I'm not going to be on much at all anymore, like I said before, but I just wanted to check in to say congrats. I'll try to poke my head in around draft time. Until then, Go Pats!
And bradyistheman12, if you ever have any questions about modding feel free to shoot me an e-mail at mark.piselli@student.shu.edu.
I kind of like the Blazers. (I'm only 2-4 for the Boston teams myself)...
Where in Oregon do you live? My sister goes to grad school at U of O and my cousins live in Portland. I love it there.

Thanks man, it is appreciated.
I really hope you find some time every once in a while to post, you will be missed man! And thanks for the email address, I'll keep that in mind.
Go Pats!
No way! I go to the University of Oregon, and have lived in Eugene most of my life as well. What does your sister study at the U of O?

She's a philosophy grad student. I've been to Eugene 4 times now. Love it.

That's tight man, Eugene is a wonderful place to live. Sure, it rains a bit much in the winter, but we are close to the mountains(I like to snowboard), close to many lakes or small bodies of water(basically live at Fern Ridge in the summer), and the weather never gets too bad.

Very underrated player. I'd trade Amare for him(not that the Blazers would since they're a pretty smart organization and obviously he's much younger too). lol if I got caught saying that in the Knicks forum, I'd be ridiculed (which I suppose says more about the Knicks forum then me). But yeah, he's def underrated. I don't think the casual NBA fan is even aware of his beastliness.
Speaking of the Blazers I was hoping they'd play the Lakers in the 1st round since they usually play them well (I despise the Lakers, they're like the team I love to hate haha).

The progression he has made this year has been astounding. He's always had that sweet jumper, but now he has become a force around the rim. I'm almost positive that he has the most alley-oops in the entire league, and he has become a tougher player inside. I'm not sure if he is better than Amare', but he is younger and has a very reasonable contract for the kind of numbers he is putting up. As well, if you put the pace of play that Portland plays at into perspective, it makes Aldridge's numbers look even better.
As for the playoffs, while I would like a chance to beat the Lakers at some point..I would prefer to avoid them in the first round. We can beat them, but obviously wouldn't feel super-confident about pulling it off. Besides the game last night where we won, we almost beat them twice this season before squandering the lead in the final minutes, so we can hang with them. My hope is that we get Dallas, they haven't had an answer for Aldridge this season, not that many teams have bottled him up anyways.
