Canucks have inquired about Florida C Marty Reasoner, a UFA this summer, but Panthers now talking to him about a contract extension.

Canucks asked Atlanta about Reasoner at last year's deadline, but wouldn't part with a 2nd round pick. Same thing could happen this year.
