reminder, july 1st at the capitol is utah utes day!!!!
Happy Pacmas day!!!! we are officially in the Pac 12 fellas!!!!
I wonder who will be a better fit for Chow's offense: Wynn or Shreve. I was excited about Shreve coming, but he didn't look very good at the Red and White game. Well...no one on the offense looked very good at the Red and White game. My biggest concerns this year are in the defensive backfield as we lost the best cover guys from a unit that couldn't cover anybody the last third of the season anyways.
Im honestly not worried about defense at all, im worried about what kind of condition Wynn is in, I think for now he is better suited for Chows offense
This season is the start of a beautiful thing for Utah, with all the new money coming in will the Utes expand the stadium? If so by what amount and where do they add seats other than filling in the corners?

that would be awesome, but we cant get ahead of ourselves, if we made it to the championship game and even lost to stanford or oregon I would be very happy, but im not getting my expectations that high
I think they are going to start re doing the North end zone to accomodate more, I have heard they are going to expand and it is in discussions to do so, by how much I have no idea
It would be nice to see a large expansion, with 98% of regular season ticket holders renewing and the first season of the Pac-12 the sooner the better. I would love to be known to be fans like we are in the Jazz nation, Imagine 3rd down stops with more riled up Ute fans. That gives me the chills just thinking about it!
well the 3rd down jump has became our "thing", its pretty big over there in the muss section, but they should make it bigger imo
As far as I have heard, and I've heard it asked pretty bluntly, there are no current plans to expand the stadium. The logical place is to fill in the south end zone, but those seats would be cheap, and wouldn't bring in as much revenue. I heard that when they do expand, it would be a plan to get more, bigger and better suites on both sides of the stadium
I can't wait to see how they do in the Pac 12. It should be a very exciting season.
kyle whittingham =
to be honest, i thought urban was the shizz and nobody could stack up to him. we are very lucky to have kyle though. i don't see him bolting to florida or notre dame or usc or wherever, especially now that he's in the pac-12. exciting times, guys![]()

You won't see near as many cream puffs as you used to get in the MWC. I'm interested to see how this plays out as well. I am old enough to remember when the Arizona schools joined the old Pac-8. Arizona State owned the WAC and won the conference title 5 or 6 years in a row before the move. BYU and Utah were part of that old WAC. Anyways, we all know how many times the 2 Arizona schools have won the Pac10. In 33 years Arizona State has won it outright twice and tied once, Arizona was involved in a 3-way tie just once. I don't expect much from Utah.
that's fair. i'm glad for the increased media spotlight on them. hopefully a game or two on ESPN, being 2500 miles away from slc = not many games on tv.
