    Bad game by the Isles, especially the goaltending... but JT with 2 goals, but Grabs strung is broken, but he made some chances...

    Good chance Al Montoya will start Saturday... might as well give him a start... Lawson can always relieve him... which I pray won't be necessary. We better come out with some life against Kings... we haven't faired too well against them
    It has been a long time since the Islanders beat the Kings – Eight years and four days (as of Saturday). Los Angeles, who defeated the Isles 5-1 in November in Scott Gordon’s final game, has won six straight over the Isles; New York is 0-5-2 in the last seven against the Kings.
    They should be motivated to win this one for themselves and the fans, however. For once they had a decent crowd of nearly 13,000, and gave them a stinker... essentially appearing to have it lost before half the first was over... Dammit... Isles need the fan support...
