I know the idea about the let down... but I dont see it... had we beat the Pens 3-2 in a good back and forth tussle, I think we could see a let down. But never in recent history ahve the isles been so dominant offensively and physically in a game, I think aadrenaline cn lead them to win more than half there games left.
I certainly hope you are right... They need to keep the enforcement policy up just so other teams don't think this was a one time thing...

Agreed. He actually played incredible yesterday. 3 goals, all shorthanded, one 5 on 3, 2 on majors. He faced 30+ shots, many on the PP with great scoring chances and had some highlight reel saves. It better be him he's impressed me since that 1st period in Toronto

150 is the record and it was the Comeau-Talbiot/Johnson/DP game. There are many >100 GT's though so lets just make it a strong one lol

I love Howie Rose. He's just so blunt about his feelings, he doesn't care what people think he's gonmna speak his mind.

    Howie Rose on pregame:

"And in my opinion, what happened the other night was a cumulative effect of a number of hits that had been delivered by opposing players against New York Islanders players that went unpenalized. As an organization, i'm sure, the players said to themselves, enough is enough, you have the Dion Phaneuf hit against John Tavares earlier in the week against Toronto, you have the Talbot hit that concussed Blake Comeau, he missed 4 games and is back in today, nothing was done. It makes you wonder sometimes if there really is a different system of justice in this league for the elite teams and all the rest. And I think the Islanders quite frankly got to the point where they had enough and they took matters into their own hands."

    What a beast
