Canes win - Sutter comes up big

Was a close, game throughout, but Sutter scored his 2nd/3rd goal in the 3rd period to help seal a 6-4 win vs Toronto.

Canes always make a run after the new year. Can't go wrong when Ward is on his game. They'll be jumping Atlanta real soon for that last playoff spot.

Indeed they do, and the way they have been playing lately, i wouldn't be suprised to see them make a run up the standings. Been playing great hockey in the RBC center, and Wards playing like the championship goal tender he was a few years ago.

ionno if the division is up for grabs. I think it's a two team show with the Lightning and Caps. But I could see you guys making your way into the top 6 by jumping the Habs/Bruins, maybe even the Rangers if they start to slide and you guys stay hot.
