Still doesn't explain how they get to play Ole Miss two years in a row.... It is supposed to rotate every year. They didn't have to play LSU, Alabama or Arkansas last year. They should have had to play two of those teams next year since they played Miss State and Ole Miss this year.

Agreed that was some of the dumbest coaching I've ever seen essentially giving up 2 downs and opting to rely on your 60% field goal kicker who has only been 42% on the year of field goals 36 yards or longer.... stupid. They said on the radio that if they had been 3 yards closer it would have been good. You know they would have got 3 yards just by running it up the middle on 2nd and 3rd down.

When they were throwing downfield, everything was clicking. But as soon as they started calling those bubble screens and handing off to Boykin and Smith every down, it was over.

The bottom line is this offense hasn't been tough and aggressive since Neil Calloway left. You have to choke the life out of the opposition if you want to win this conference again. Richt and Bobo are too soft and conservative.

Honestly this year I blame this on their schedule. They didn't have to play Arkansas, Alabama or LSU in the regular season and therefore were able to get away most of the season without having to pull out all the stops.

The best teams they played this season were Boise State, South Carolina, LSU and Michigan State.... They lost all 4 games. Aside from those they played Auburn, Georgia Tech and the rest were teams at or below .500

I don't understand why you keep bringing up the schedule, that has nothing to do with it. Teams become great because of depth and coaching. LSU and Bama's backups could start for almost every other team in the country. Those players practice against each other all year, fighting for playing time, and Saban & Miles coach them tough, which makes them all better players. If the rest of the East wasn't so mediocre, the schedule wouldn't be an issue, so blame those programs. One or two games won't change anything. No reason to keep bringing it up in here.

Instant impact: Jenkins. While he will need to make gains in strength and bulk, Jordan Jenkins has an engine that never stops and the ability to be a disruptive force off the edge for the Bulldogs defense.

Bottom line: Georgia's class moved up when the signing of Josh Harvey-Clemons became official on Thursday, as of Wednesday evening that wasn't official. The Bulldog offense will be able to do big things in the coming years with the addition of offensive tackle John Theus and a pair of great running backs in Keith Marshall and Todd Gurley.

ATHENS – Three players have been kicked off the Georgia football team for an undisclosed violation of team rules.

UGA coach Mark Richt announced this morning that freshman defensive back Nick Marshall, freshman wide receiver Sanford Seay and freshman defensive back Chris Sanders have been dismissed from the team.

The school did not address what precipitated the dismissals.

“It’s a privilege to play college football and to be a part of this team and University,” Richt said in a statement. “Along with that privilege comes certain responsibilities. Mistakes were made, and part of our job is helping them learn from mistakes. Going forward, we are committed to assisting them find opportunities where they can continue their education.”

Marshall was one of the top players in the state, but they still have Swann and Commings to step in for Boykin.

So what does everyone think of our recruiting class? IMO I think we did a great job would have liked to see us get a little more help in the defensive back field and our oline but we are stacked at LB and HB can't wait to see Marshall run with the ball and see Clemons make that first tackle. Jenkins should have a good impact from the start too.
