I'm hoping Edgar/Maynard 3 and Faber/Cruz 2 make it onto the Toronto card.

I'm hoping Edgar/Maynard 3 and Faber/Cruz 2 make it onto the Toronto card.

Faber's being lined up for a fight in Jersey at UFC 128 I believe, and I doubt they throw Maynard/Edgar III on that card for a few reasons.

1) Odds are both GSP/Shields and Maynard/Edgar would go to a decision which would make the event last quite a while.

2) They already have Machida/Couture being lined up for the co-main event with a good chance we see Wanderlei Silva on the card as well.

3) Edgar and Maynard will probably be very hyped up getting some serious buys for a card they headline. Who doesn't want to see a third fight where one was how many years ago and the other was tough fought draw. We'll probably see another fight from these guys down the line.

Guess you didn't take a look at the post listing all the events as Faber is scheduled to fight Eddie Wineland at UFC 128.

MMA Junkie, Bloody Elbow, MMA Weekly. Usually they are reported weeks and sometimes months before the UFC "confirms" it on their website.

I get several on Twitter by the fighters or reporters. Couture said the fight with Machida is on, they just have to sign.

Edgar said he thought May sounded about right. So Vegas sounds like something they would do.
