It really is a shame that a team that needs offense has given a guy like Huff way more ABs than Belt.
Brandon Belt, Giants organization
Eric Hosmer, Royals organization

Through 1 Year. Hosmer Is Light Years Ahead Of Belt
I'm a noob here, but Eric Hosmer has more upside than any of these guys. He's just a natural hitter, with a sick, powerful, fluid swing. He's like Michael Morse, who is another 1B that should be up for debate. Brandon Belt isn't even draft-able, and he probably won't even start in the Majors on opening day.
Not by much, but
1) Eric Hosmer
2) Michael Morse
3) Freddie Freeman
...if we're talking about young elite studs. But don't forget about Kendrys Morales either, coming off injury. He has .300+ BA 30+ HR written all over him, especially in that line-up.
hosmer easily

Hosmer is an excellent 2013 bounceback and breakout guy IMO....

Ike Davis: 6.4 fWAR in 339 games
Freddie Freeman: 2.7 fWAR in 324 games
Brandon Belt: 2.5 fWAR in 208 games
Eric Hosmer: 0.5 fWAR in 280 games
I'm interested to see what all 4 of these guys do in 2013. As a Mets fan I want to see if Ike can continue his 2nd half success after struggling so bad in the 1st half of 2012.
