No way that was a goal!!!!!!! He completely stopped forward momentum and then made his shot. The officiating was mediocre at best tonight. No call on the punch to the head of Bolland and very late whistles when Crawford was trying to freeze the puck.
I am ok with getting a point at least but they should have taken 2.
I agree completely with the shoot out. St. Louis' goal should not have counted. The continuation was not there, he basically went backwards, he stopped the puck...just shouldn't have been a goal.
The Hawks earned 21 pts over their last 14 gms. They will need to do 1 better including at least 2/3 vs the Wings to overtake them because the Wings earned 17 pts the last time they faced their last 15 opponents. If they can do that, they are serious Cup contenders again.
