    Jarome Iginla Rumors

Heard a few rumors we were trying to trade for him...Anybody know if there is any validity to them??? Most likely not, but thought somebody might have heard more.

The Kings have been after Jarome for years, so that part is true, but the Flames said they are not trading him.

I think he would be a great fit. I wish they would do something, they need another goal scorer.

The Flames say that they aren't going to ask him to waive his no trade clause, for now. They are going nowhere and need to rebuild so you never know what could change come February. I could also see Sutter getting fired and a new GM could have a different idea on what to do with the team.

That being said, I've hear Simmonds and Schenn as the most likely players to go to Calgary if such a trade happens. I don't want to give up either one of them, but I also think Iggy could be the difference maker in winning a cup.

^ I agree. We need him on the Power Play and he would be great with Anze. I like Simmonds and Schenn has a bright future, but I'll take Jarome, hope so.

I hope they do something, I'm tired of using my imagination.

How many more games are the Kings going to lose because they don't have another top line scorer?

The thing is, at least the last few games, they haven't been playing terrible. They've just been playing bad enough to lose.

Well it is just like last year, they are starting to lose those 1 or 2 goal games.

It's scary how similar it is, hopefully they play a good game against Detroit tomorrow night cuz I'll be there. Plus Detroit will be on a back to back after the Anaheim game.

You'd have to believe a new GM would probably do a better job than Sutter but that might mean he would ask for more than the Kings should pay.
