who's whining? i don't think there's a single UF fan (with a brain) who thinks they deserve to be in over an undefeated ND and the SEC champion. our schedule was the toughest in the nation this year (5 top-12 opponents, 4 wins in those games, 2 of them on the road), but we still lost to UGA and that was that. i think you're confusing us with another fanbase...

I think Florida shot themselves in the foot. Turnovers often decide games. Georgia's defense is good? This is the same defense that let Tennessee score 44 pts, Kentucky score 24 pts, SC score 35 pts on their way to a rout of the Dawgs. I guess the Bama game will determine if Georgia has a good defense. I already know Bama's defense has some holes in it. That was exposed by LSU and A&M.

They underperformed, yes, but Jarvis Jones was hurt and he's probably the best defensive player in the country.

I think you're confusing what I said. I was simply defending ND's toughness schedule after you were bagging on them in the other ND thread. I don't dare say (and did not) they have the toughest schedule as it stands thru 11/24, but going into it the season they had a very daunting schedule. Still a tough schedule regardless.

And I have no problem with you thinking they'll get crushed.

Uh did we watch the same game? It was a 1 possession game that came down to a fumble in the red zone, and it was a rivalry game on a neutral field. No shatting of beds happened that day. Georgia just won a defensive struggle and a very close game.

well, if you really want to debate semantics, one could argue that they should be a top-3 team over bama based on their respective resumes. however, they clearly shouldn't be above a team that beat them or an undefeated team who played a difficult schedule themselves.

florida? yes, they are more deserving than georgia to be number 3 right now. georgia may have betane them, but that is literally their only noteable win. plus how can the number 3 team in the coutnry lose by 28? losing close is one thing, but how can they play 2 good teams and get spanked by one and still be as higlhy regarded as they are. I hope bama drops 80 on them honestly, solely because there is nothing to warrant the hype surronding them

What is the definition of crushed? I don't see Alabama crushing ND at all.

I dont know if ND will score, but Alabama won't score much either.

ND held the 7th best scoring offense to 13 points on the road, I can't imagine Alabama scores more than that.

Alabama/Georgia is probably going to score 35 themselves. That over/under is much too low. 45 or so seems more accurate.
