You've got to be kidding me. You were non-tendered? I had no idea. Pittsburgh may be making you an offer in the near future.

Your our top priority Jorge, we hope the fact that bigger markets have entered the race for your services hasn't deterred you away from our team.

Well, things in Pittsburgh are finally starting to look promising. However, were still pinched for money. We feel we've made very safe, smart moves, baseball and financial wise up to this point. There are still a few Free Agents out there that we feel are attainable and make sense for this team going forward in this next 2-3 year period. Last season we had the worst record in baseball and we were also the team with by far the lowest salary cap, something tells me there is a correlation between the two. We know were going to be fielding a more competitive team this upcoming season and ticket sales should begin to rise again which means money in your pocket. Were simply asking for a payroll increase of $5 Million dollars. Setting our cap at $50,000,000 which we feel is very reasonable. Thank you for your time.
