I can certainly say that I listened to some stuff back in the day that is definetly crap to me now. Almost embarrassing.you start noticing how many bands are just basically retreads of stuff that has came and went, kind of like movies, fashion etc. very little originality left in the world. But on the other hand, it's also harder to stand out because so many things have already been done.

Levon Helm died today at 71. There's probably only a handful of people on this site who are familiar with Helm and his work with The Band. RIP to one of my favourite drummers and singers of all time.

I'm so stocked, my first Bob Dylan Concert and Chicago Blues are opening. The next they is also great I missed Trombone Shorty last year and it sounds like something you have to see live and Dr. John should be pretty good to.
