I am on a $210 budget for an ASA approved softball bat. What's the best bang for my buck?

I've been looking at this one

    http://www.softballfans.com/shop/Eas...pitch-Bat.html

Would that be a good buy?

We bought a new $200 bat, and we are using it in practice. I have no idea why. Am I just paranoid, or should I be upset? We have an old like $60 bat we can use.

Salvo's are actually the best bang for your buck. But it really depends on if you swing a end loaded bad well or not for the Mayhem.

You have to use it to break it in. If its a composite bat, you have to bust up the minuture threads inside the bat to make it stronger for game play. And I'd throw away any $60 bat.

I'm assuming this softball thread is considered slow pitch ball right?

However, currently I am helping train with Derek Carr from Fresno State get ready for his pro day and the draft. I am also working with Cody Kessler, the USC quarterback.
