Carter was traded after 08-09
the 09-10 record was after VC.

The carter trade for this franchise was one of the best ever. We traded junk for him too.

Carter was and is a dog. Nets had one good season with him, and that was with Kidd and RJ healthy, and the Nets playing tough defense.

And of course, Carter rolled over in the playoffs, like he did last season.

Was not ecstatic when Nets traded for him, was angry when Nets re-signed him, and partied when Nets traded him.

Nets may have had a bad season last year, but they are on the road to improvement, which would not be the case if Nets hadn't traded him.

the truth is whenever you trade an Allstar, specially if 30 or + year old you NEVER get back a good package.
Thats why i find so laughable the players "laker" fans are asking back for Gasol in a trade.

The one that sent Webber from Washington to Sac. Washington didn't make the playoffs till 05 and the trade the sent him to Phily. Sacramento only made the playoffs once since then.
