    Northwestern Wildcat Thread

The Cat's are 4 - 0! Sure they haven't played anybody but Vandy, Rice and C. Michigan aren't exactly the doormats other teams play. And the way Minnesota and Purdue have been playing I think NU could easily be 6-0 going into the MSU game.

    Great start for the 'Cats.

Pat Fitzgerald is a very good coach, I imagine it would be a treat to play for him.

always like seeing the Cats do well(cept when they play MSU). The one MSU game I am going to this year will be the one @NU, should be a good game. I've been to the last two MSU games there, always have a great time in Evanston

I think I might go to the Purdue night game in a few weeks and then definitely the Iowa game in November. My Brother is an alumni so we have an awesome tailgate spot. Hopefully the Cat's keep winning.

Sloppy win against Minnesota. But a wins a win. Persa looks pretty good.

The Purdue/Northwestern game is on the big ten network, but I'm wondering why it isn't listed on ATDHE or channelsurfing?

Went to the game yesterday. NU's special teams are plain bad. Couple of fumbles on returns and 2 missed field goals. Not going to win a lot of games in the Big Ten doing that. Hopefully Fitz can get the team to rebound.

NU has been disappointing this year. Blowing a 21 point first half lead was bad against PSU. They also had MSU beat but the ball has been bouncing the Spartan's way this year till they played Iowa. Wish NU could put together a decent defense.

NU's defense played well today. One of the most fun CFB games I've been to. Kind of hilarious with all the Iowa fans we invited to our tailgate. Good Times!!!

wasnt able to watch any of the game till the last drive...as nervous as I was, I can't imagine how those of you at the game must have been feeling.

I thought for sure that Iowa would come back and win. It's just been that type of year for NU. But luckily they held on.

Really sucks that Persa is done for the year. He looked very impressive.

Yeah, can't believe that happened on the winning TD pass. I hope Persa can come back next year. But achilles injuries are always tough to recover from.

Glad to hear Paddy Fitz is staying at NU. Now if they can add a few kids to the non existent recruiting class it would be nice.
