It dosent look to good for the Reds today with Ubaldo Jimenez taking on Harang. I hope Harang dosent get rocked too bad and the O gets back on track. IDK why Walk didnt get a extra OF with Bruce being hurt since last week. Gomes, Stubbs and Heisey playing everyday isn't cutting it.
props to Bee for the sig!!
i think we just witnessed the last pitch aaron harang will have as a red.

the reds are just willing the cardinals to get back into the race the way they are playing as of late.
we are fortunate enough that the cards continue to struggle against poor teams.

I thought I'd pass this article along to you guys from my Insider rumor mill section. I dont see this happining nor do I want it too but I thought you guys may enjoy reading it.
La Russa to CIN if Dusty bolts?
Dusty Baker | Reds. Baker is more interested with the Reds' race to the NL Central title rather than a contract extension. At least that is what he is saying publicly.
It's been just over a month since the Reds offered Baker an extension of an unspecified length and the manager would not broach the topic Wednesday. "Sooner or later," Baker told MLB.com. "Right now, I'm not focusing on me. I'm focused on us and getting to the playoffs."
Baker also wouldn't say if he would wait until after the season to deal with the contract talks. His leverage will undoubtedly increase if the Reds advance to the postseason for the first time since 1995.
ESPN.com's Jayson Stark thinks Baker will be back in Cincinnati next season, but brings up an intriguing personality if things change:

La Russa to Cincinnati?
"If Dusty bolts -- for another job or contract reasons, or both -- we're fascinated by the rampant speculation in St. Louis that the Reds could swoop in and hire Tony La Russa. 'In the end, I think Dusty takes their offer and stays,' said one longtime baseball man with connections both to Reds GM Walt Jocketty and Reds CEO Bob Castellini. 'But if he doesn't, I could see Tony going there.' And why is that? 'That would be Walt's Dream Team, having Tony there,' the same baseball man said. 'And it would be the owner's Dream Team, having Walt and Tony there.' Castellini, as you may know, was once an investor in the Cardinals. And he's often been portrayed, by those who know him, as a guy who has dreamed of recreating the Cardinals empire in Ohio."

thats an aweful idea. i dont want the Reds to get Larussa and i know none of our players want to have Larussa
i want Dusty to come back
I'm pretty sure Dusty will be back next year, he just is biding his time for the Reds to raise the offer when/if they make the playoffs.
planned on going to the game tonight... but i guess not anymore...
all my friends are either working right now or away at school
damn man too bad you didnt go and get to see that walk off! i bet it would have been insane to be at that game.
props to Bee for the sig!!
i think its time to start the search for a new closer.
