My league actually tried the survivor pot a few times but people werent getting in enough to keep it going.

My league did have a strike pot that got up to 15,000. It was one dollar to get in and based on your average you had to get strikes in certain frames. So the higher your average the more strikes you had to get. There was one guy a few years ago who almost won it. He was in the third game on the last strike he had to get he hit the pocket flush but left the 10 pin he was pissed of course. We stopped the pot and just divided the money evenly amongst the teams.

Wow 15,000 dollars is a lot. I don't know what I would do if I left the bowling with half of that money.

Good luck. I wasn't trying to bowl well. I just wanted to find out things about my game but it just came naturally. Not a lot of strikes, maybe 6 or 7 total. 4 open frames and I had a 3 pin count off a spare but picked it up otherwise it was mostly all 7 or more pins and pretty easy spares. I didn't miss the single pin spares like I did a lot last year so thats something to build off of.

So results from bowling on Saturday... I bowled good, a 614 series 223/209/182. For my league thats solid but not good enough to win any money considering I only have 6 pins handicap. My league does 90% of 210 so my average is 203. We should of won the first game but a guy on my team blew the 10th frame with an open and we lost by 5 pins. Second game we won by 60 and third game they crused us by like 200. So disappointing weekend just have to get next week.

I am very pleased with my bowling scores yesterday. I did better then usual. Bowled 4 games. My scores were: 181,164, 196, 188. That is much better than my average. Hope I can do that well when I start in my league next week.

Results from last night I bowled a 628 series 238-188-202. My team won 2/3 and series so 5 points we play on a 7 point system. First game I didnt win any money, but should of IF I carry the ten pin in the 10th frame first ball flush in the pocket ten pin damn! I spare it up and strike. If I would of punched out I would of ended up with a 258 plus 6 pins handicap 264. Oh well get'em next week.

My bowling league starts tomorrow night. I am really excited. It's weird though because I called today and found out only like 7 people are signed up for the league which is odd.
