BJ Upton.

I agree with your boy.
I think I'd take Upton. It's close though.
I dislike Ellsbury but I'd rather have him. Upton just doesn't have the bonus of great base stealing. And Ellsbury usually has better stats. Tough question though.
When healthy, its a no doubter that i'd rather have Jacoby, because it seems to Upton thinks he has it all already and tends to struggle more. Upton takes for granted his talent at times, but Jacoby is always busting his *** for a play, which is the reason why he's on the DL now, but i'd rather have him.

I think both are overrated but I would take Ellsbury. Upton has all the potential in the world but he seems to lack focus, or at least lacks hustle from time to time which drives me nuts.
BJ Upton, Jacoby Ellsbury is hurt.
This is easy. Ellsbury by a mile. Upton has been a joke the past couple of seasons.
10.4 career WAR in 2600 PA
vs
6.3 WAR in 1500 PA
By that stat alone, I would take Ellsbury.
Ellsbury has less service time meaning he will make less for longer and be a free agent a year later, but Upton can play center better than Ellsbury.
Ellsbury is a Boras client, Upton is not.
And Upton is a year younger.....so....
write out your pro and cons list, and you can decide who you would rather have.
Fact is, neither has done anything all that special yet.
Upton has the natural talent
Ellsbury is not only a smarter base runner, but might even be quicker on the bases
Upton profiles to have a better bat and is by no means slow.
