Ok, now that you guys are here...
Please understand that it's one thing to come up and make a big, even huge impact like Sandoval is doing right now, but it's another thing to do it for 5 and a half years. Wright has never had a down year, his OPS has topped .900 every full season he's ever played in.
Look at it from an objective point of view, can you honestly say you'd take a possible one year wonder over a model of consistency?

I'm a huuge Giants fan and this thread/poll makes me sad. Pablo is obviously a solid player, but David Wright has been a star for nearly 5 years. Wright is a more complete package and very young as well. I know his power numbers are way down, but still.

I'd rather have Sandoval.
1) He's 5 years younger.
2) He's having a much better year than Wright.
3) Cheap contract.
4) Pablo's a switch hitter with tons more power potential.
5) He can play catcher.
How the **** is Pablo overrated? He's having a way better year than Wright.
