I saw this game Today, I almost shed a Tear in the 9th inning.

This guy was absolutely on FIRE!!!

There were no shady calls. On the other hand Halladay did receive more than a few favorable strike calls.

Morrow was dirty, I watched the last few innings. Obviously you need a little luck to throw a no hitter and Morrow struck out a ton of hitters today so he took a lot of that luck out of play. It's unfortunate that Hill didn't come up with that grounder, looked like he may have had a play.

Morrow pitched the best game thrown all year. Its no perfect game, but from the standpoint of raw pitching performance, he was dominant in every aspect.

I still think the jays got ripped off by giving up Brandon league for him.

Morrow's 1 hitter triumphs other no hitters, I don't care what any of you say, Morrow's 1hitter was one of the best pitching performances this year

Morrow easily trumps Edwin's no-no, he had one of the BEST pitching performances in at least a couple of years.

I was actually expecting a game out of him like this, not because I witnessed it today but I was following his game earlier and even when he worked 5IP, he had 9 K's... I even looked up his stats and his K/9IP ratio was amazing. I just looked it up again, he is at 10.60 K/9IP which is the highest i believe for a SP. He has a heck of an arm and we all got to experience what he can do over a whole 9 innings, his first complete game, I doubt it will be his last.

Both have electric arms but I liked the deal then and I still like now. Morrow has incredible stuff which he put on display today and IF he ever figures things out he'll be an effective pitcher. He's a wild card at this point.

Actually - that's kind of true. Someone posted this in the Jays forum - Ill share...

According to Bill James' metric "Game Score," which is a one number-summary of how good a pitcher's single-game performance is, Brandon Morrow's 17-strikeout, 2-walk, one-hitter on Sunday - which got a score of 100 - is tied for the 4th-best single-game pitching performance since 1920. It was the highest by any pitcher in a single game since Randy Johnson scored 100 in his perfect game back in 2004.
So, yes, it actually has been the best pitching performance in a while

Morrow pitched a better overall game than Jackson.
