Is Morrow's 1 hitter better than Jackson's No Hitter?

17 k's 1 hit. with jackson he had a guy warming up for him in the third inning cause of his 9 walks! which is better? a no hitter is historic but i like the performance from Morrow.

    Interesting question...

From strictly a baseball standpoint - Morrow's game was better.

From a historic standpoint, it obviously has to go to Jackson.

Morrow pitched a better game overall - if that's what your asking

Jackson's no-hitter wasn't a thing of beauty, but it goes down in the record books.

Yes Morrow probably pitched better, but there have been 2-, 3- and even 4-hitters this year that were prettier than Jackson't no-hitter.

You have to say that Jackson's no hitter was better it is a historic accomplishment, but Morrow was absolutely amazing today.

1 hit shutout>>5+ walk no hitter IMO

Cain had a 1 hitter earlier this season I think that was better then Jacksons also

17 K's is no small feat. That also goes down in the recordbooks.
    Jacksons No-No was cheap.

This thread is ridiculous Morrow's performance is closer to Halladay's perfect game than Jackson's jumble.

I think you could easily argue Morrow's game was better than Halladay's perfecto.

Actually, according to Bill James' game score Morrows' game was rated 100. Which is two points better than Halladays' perfect game, and the 4th greatest pitched game since 1920.

I think that might be the Blue Jays franchise record. It might be 18 by Clemens...

Brandon Morrow was absolutely filthy today.
