I like hearing about our young guys so if you watch or see any more games in person definitely fill us in. Thanks.

That was a very nice and clean hit. I'd like Dylan to avoid some AHL fights when possible. Save them for the NHL.

Ryan Graves record a 102 mph slapshot in his teams skill competition. Nice that we have a shutdown, 6'4, 225 pound defenseman who has 10 G, 12 A so far this season with a howitzer as a slapshot. Quickly rising up as one of the better defenseman prospects outside the NHL.

Tambellini destroying the WHL now with 37 G, 26 A in 50 games. Walcott 6 G, 25 A, +19 in 40 games. Excited to see what Tambellini, Graves and Walcott do in the AHL next season.

I saw a blog recently praising the improvements in Graves and Tambellini. Our scouts are making things happen with their mid draft picks.

Given our apparent acumen with mid-range picks, I'd love for the Rangers to stock up on mid-range picks and keep doing what they are doing. Somewhere within our scouting process, we have some advantage in uncovering hidden gems in lower rounds. Keep it going!

Although Graves and Tambellini have really shown some improvements and are intriguing prospects I'm not yet ready to consider them more than they are. Graves will have to prove he can continue offensive output like he can, but I'm encouraged by what I've seen so far. Tambellini is an over-ager playing with young kids so it's definitely best to temper the expectations with him and see what he offers in the AHL next year.

One guy I'm really interested in is Fogarty. I think he can be something special at least as far as a grinding bottom six guy who may end up having more to offer.
