QBs- D+.... How do you get off saying Delhomme (lead NFL in picks) and a rookie who had never played before is even average? I'd say the browns probably belong in the top 5 worst QBs in the league. Try to think of 5 teams who have worse options AT THIS POINT?

FBs - A - ....Great blocking backs no doubt. Top 5 in the league with FBS no doubt

RBs- B .... Solid B as you have alot of POTENTIAL and youth at the position. We'll see what it translats to on the field

WR - D ..... You dont have a number one period. Cribbs on any other team would not even start. He is a glorified wildcat specialist/returner. he ISN'T a true reciever. he averages like 300 yds a season and plays every down. OUCH! GREAT GREAT player tho just not WR. Massoqui(Sp) has potential and brings u up from an F to a D. Robiske is like a ghost. Stuckey is lame. Again top 5 worst core in the league

TE- C+ .....Watson is solid but up there in age. Check the AFC West they have some INSANE tight ends. you guys are average

OL - A - ... I must admit i'm VERY jealous of your YOUNG, STRONG, GREAT O LINE. Easily a top 10 BEST in the league. GREAT LINE

DL - B ..... Rogers is a FORCE. You guys dont have much depth tho besides him. I mean EVERYONE has a bunch of players on their teams taht could b something but nothing concrete here.

LBS - B-... Soliid here too, You will miss the pass rush of Wimbley. but barton and dqwell and pretty good. You guys got fujita too right? solid

CBs - C ... i'll probably get chewed out for this but i dont think they are much better than average. Haden is a ROOKIE and slow, maybe he will amount to somethin so i'm not judging him yet. Eric Wright a top ten CB? WOW lemme have what ur smoking. He is a solid 2nd CB in this league AT BEST. He's played number one the lst two yrs and gets eaten alive ALOT. Sheldon brown is old and is a solid number 2 also in this league. Honestly he is decent. B mcdonald had a HORRIBLE season last year. Francis is a dime man at best.

Safety - D+... in comparison to the league your just not good here. not at all. Ward ur rookie is a hrd hitter with very low coverage skills according to reports.

    Offense for 2010 - C -
    Defense for 2010 - C -

    Browns 2010 Record 5-11
Agree with WR's and the secondary D. Didn't really look at the others but idk why the creator of the thread has the WR so good. None of them would start on any other team in the division.

I think giving our WRs a D or C is fair because they are unproven. However, like any set of players, they can have a break out year. We have 3 young guys in Mo, Robo and Stuckey that have a great oppurtunity this year.

As for the Cribbs knock; the guy really isn't a pure WR... he's a hard nosed, old school football player; a hybrid. In my opinion I still feel like Cribbs would be a sick... SICK... running back if moved their permanantly; however, if he does see the ball more this year in the pass game teams better watch out with their open field tackles.

Mass starts on the steelers behind Ward and on the ravens behind Boldin. Mason is hurt and Stallworth is a better slot guy.

I find it so comical the people that instantly give a young group of players such a low grade. If they haven't been in the league long enough to prove they are an A, how can you say they are below a C. In my eyes, to start the season, or at least preseason, you have to grade any unproven player a C. You have no idea what your going to get. We could have a gem WR or CB that doesn't shine until gametime. You look like less of an idiot if you at least give them the credit of being average. Especially the guys who were picked in the top four rounds.

As for our WR's...we may not have our number ONE guy in this group, but hey if it takes 6 guys to do what 3 guys do on another team, I don't really care. As long as the job gets done. With the way our o-line is looking and our RB's, the pressure on the QB and WR's is going to be down some anyways. You can tell from a lot of the player feedback that these guys all are buying into the system and want to win. We haven't had players with that kind of desire in a long time. So keep your superstars who think ME, and we'll keep our football players who think TEAM.

Stars will come (not in the free agent sense, necessarily). I like the personnel evaluators we have now, and the program they're implementing is different than what we've seen in the past. Being an amazing football player, in my opinion, will not be enough on its own for the Browns to want you as a part of that system in the future. They're going to attempt to sift out the ones who are more. They don't want players who will disrupt what they're trying to build. It would have been easy to offer Terrell Owens a big 1/2 year deal to get a proven #1. I think they'd rather evaluate and develop in house, take a little longer, and do it right, not just for a shot at a year or two in the playoffs.

Because they are unproven... they haven't proved anything... they don't deserve credit yet if they haven't showed any talent yet.

The Steelers would definitely have Mike Wallace starting in front of Mass and idk about Randel El, I haven't seen him play in a while. And the only reason he would start on the Ravens is because of an injury, that's still not too comforting.

If he builds up a strong mentality and becomes smash mouth he will easily have 1,000 but we need that back that can steam roll in the open field as well as hit the gaps effectively.

Wallace is a speed guy, more of a slot receiver. Mass #2.

If you even try saying Randel El then you need to be slapped lol.

You don't know how good Mass Can be so watch it. Had a very solid rookie season on a team with no QBs.

I honestly don't know much about Randel El at all so I can't say anything about him.

Dude just get some stats, they're not hard to find.

Delhomme threw 18, far behind Jay Cutler (26), as well as Stafford (20), and Sanchez (20).

Sure they threw a few more TDs, but most of the best QBs in the league threw somewhere from 13-15 picks. There's no reason to be AS down on Delhomme as some people have been. Be skeptical, sure, but you can't rate the Browns QBs a D+ based solely on a guy whose performance you don't really even know, a rookie, and Wallace, whom you didn't even mention.

There's much more that plays into grading the position than what you considered.

What's the deal with Montario Hardesty. Heard good things about him coming out of the draft and rookie camp then he fell off the radar.

Twisted his knee or something, right? Is it serious?

I'm really hoping his knee is going to be fine. The reports from OTA's on Hardesty were great. I haven't heard anything official about the knee injury, but I don't think he has bee practicing since. I know management wants to take it slowly and not risk the injury becoming more serious cause he had knee issues in college. Although, I think it was with the other knee.
