Buster Posey needs to average 4.89 PA/G for rest of season to qualify for rate stats.

    Will he do it?

No. But he doesn't need to, since whatever PAs he comes short on they'll just add them as hitless ABs.

So if he finishes say, with 450 (which is what he'll likely be at), they'll add 52 PAs without a hit to get an adjusted batting average.

Can Zach Wheeler be traded as a PTBNL?

    You didn't do it right.

It's supposed to be "I want Hanley Ramirez. Too bad we can't trade Zach Wheeler ."

Has anyone ever won a batting crown that way?

I'm sure someone's won it being a couple PA short, but it's virtually impossible to win it with 50 PA short unless they hit .400 or so.

Also, can Nate Schierholtz play 3B?

Why does Nate need to play 3B? Is Pablo out longer than the 2 days?

    You've just been chasm'd sir.

It's a joke we used to have here where people would ask if Nate could still play 3B about every two weeks. This was mainly 2008 and 2009.
