Just finally got around to watching the ESPN doc about the Gretzky trade. Man did that come rushing back. Good doc but it just brought out memories of the worst day in my young life (10 years old at the time). I was devastated.

Reason: spelling
I also liked the documentary. I wasn't around when "The Trade" happened (Born in 1990), but man looking back its still shocking. That cheap prick Peter Pocklington should have just sold the team if he needed the money that bad.
Just imagine if we could have kept the core together.
It was pretty bad. It was made even worse because my best friend at the time was a Flames fan and he used to rub it in my face all of the time. To make matters worse the Flame won the cup that year. Horrible. If they would have kept that core they could have been like the Celtics during the Russell era. They won a cup without Gretzky in 90 and the3n that same core won a cup with the Rangers (Oilers 2)a few years later.
