Quinn removed as Oilers coach, Renney takes his place

Pat Quinn's return to coaching has ended sooner than expected.

The Edmonton Oilers bumped Quinn into the front office Tuesday and promoted associate coach Tom Renney to head coach, a move the team said had always been in the works but was accelerated after a disastrous season.
What do you guys think of this move?

I like it. Tom Renney is an excellent coach and will do good without Quinn. It was also said that Quinn lost the locker room last year, which mean the players also wanted a change.

Total agreement with you here. Good move.
