Remember the Titans![]()
Oldboy. Awesome movie that a lot of people don't know about
I will speak for Tragedy and Philly Luver when I say that Planes, Trains, & Automobiles does not get nearly enough credit as it deserves.
Kingpin.
Batman Begins- For how my hype and love TDK received, I thought Begins was a superior film.
There Will Be Blood
Frost/Nixon

Uncle Buck.
Cable Guy is a good pick.
I'm gonna go with An American Werewolf in London. Not enough people know that movie.
eta: Also, since people are tossing out comedies. Planes,Trains is a good one, and so is Uncle Buck. But, to digress from the John Hughes motif. What about So I Married an Axe Murderer? I think that may qualify as underrated.
They Live.
I'm a big Kubrick fan so I'll say Barry Lyndon. Paths of Glory too, but I think Barry Lyndon more so.
Also, I may be alone here, but I think The Sandlot is really a great film, not just a fun nostalgia ride. I mean everybody likes it, but its REALLY good.
