Adrian Beltre is not top 10, maybe top 20.

Hey, Beltre's been the 3rd best hitting 3B this year if you use the batting component of WAR, 4th using wOBA. The guy's been a good hitter. Obviously not top 10 but you could do a lot worse than Adrian Beltre.
I know it was just an example but he's been surprisingly good this year.
Patriots Forum HOF Class of 2011
So basically, whoever has the most hits are the best players?
If that were the case the list would be
1. Martin Prado
2. Robinson Cano
3. Ichiro Suzuki
4. Billy Butler
5. Michael Young
6. Adrian Beltre
7. Josh Hamilton
8. Brandon Phillips
9. David DeJesus
10. Vladimir Guerrero
Might there be a reason why judging people by their hits total or even their batting average is a bad idea?

Adrian Beltre isn't even a top 20 hitter LOL....and Martin Prado in the top 10? What? Are you drunk?
good list ^^ I think Dejesus is overrated but good point with Hamilton and Phillips.
Oh my![]()
^^ Someone needs to learn what sarcasm is.
List is tough to make. This based on glancing at OPS over last couple years, considers injuries and such. Joey Votto is a beast, I always knew he was good but geez. He deserves top 5.
1. Albert Pujols
2. Miguel Cabrera
3. Kevin Youkilis
4. Justin Morneau
5. Joey Votto
6. Alex Rodriguez
7. Joe Mauer
8. Robinson Cano
9. Prince Fielder
10. Josh Hamilton
HM: Adrian Gonzalez, Hanley Ramirez, Chase Utley, Ryan Braun, Evan Longoria,
Fielder and Braun should both be on the list.
