    Stars to sign Kari Lehtonen to 3-year extension

    The Dallas Stars are reportedly close to signing goaltender Kari Lehtonen to a three-year contract extension.

    Lehtonen is a restricted free agent for the team and with the Stars bidding farewell to Marty Turco this off-season, he will be their number one goalie moving forward. The deal may end up being signed as early as today. Stay tuned.

    I think we overpaid. So far Joe is not doin so hot as a GM in my book.

    That kick save Lehtonen made against the Yotes the other night was out of this world! Best play I've seen all year.

    I'm gonna assume you were talking about the mid air kick save he made. That was pretty badass. Looks like Kari wasn't a bad signing after all.
