Appreciate it. Me and cwsnj have been trying to keep it going somewhat since last season.

Just got back from vacation and find the Stars at 4-1, can't really complain about that.

Stars are playing pretty good this season, so far. I'm really liking the play of Lehtonen and Gogligoski so far. Joe is proving me wrong, and I like it.

So far so good. I am very surprised by the fast start this year. The only concern I have so far is the number of shots the team allows.

I can't lie, this might be the saddest forum on PSD. But it also goes to show what most DFW people think of hockey. That your local team can play so well to start the season and yet this forum can go a week or two between posts. It's fun seeing them do well though. Join the Mavs and Rangers in the local championship round party.

Get this place rolling. The Stars are playing real solid. Jamie Benn is the ****ing man by the way.

This reminds me a lot of last year too. They were winning but the other team was getting an insane amount of shots on goal. We need to tighten the screws on defense a little, because the other team isn't always going to miss and Kari isn't always going to stop them. A little worried about Lehtonen being overworked also so early, with his history of injuries.

I would have thought that losing Richards would have hurt us more. It's great to see the guys like Loui and Benn step up and grab the reigns. Certainly have a lot to look forward to this year.

Either way, I'll enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Benn's the ****ing man. You guys just need to keep pace and avoid the meltdown from last year. Lehtonen can't get hurt either. I'm on the Stars bwagon this year.

We're still giving up too many shots on goal. Until we curb that, I can't see Lehtonen keeping up this pace. I pray that he will find a way somehow though.

I adree with Kari's workload. There is no reason that Raycroft can't start every 4th game or so. Someone is gonna have to step up on D and fill in for Goligoski for the next couple of weeks too.

The injury bug has bitten us hard. I guess the good thing is that we get them all out of the way early? Hopefully we can get back on track tonight vs the Avs.
