    I'm gonna hold off listening.

I want to hear it all at once.

Haha yeah i should probably start doing that.

Not worth listening to too many leaked songs off of a 9 song album

The more interested I am, the less I want to listen to early releases.

I'm down for a complete leak though

I own every album I'm interested in ( I even pre-ordered Thank Me Later) but I still download at the first sign of a leak. It's 100% the same for me, I guess. But I MUST have the hard copy of an album. It's kind of my hobby anymore.

EDIT: I recently purchased a copy of Fashawn's Boy Meets World with his signature on the front.. for 8 dollars. Boo ya!

I know this is supposed to be more of a hip hop thread, but Janelle Monae very well may have just released the album of the year across all genres. It's called "The ArchAndroid". Youtube it *****

I heard they're finally making P2P Programs, and 'file-sharing' illegal, soon. They've said that for the longest time, but if it's true, I better stock up a ton of music on a USB.

That must be burning a hole in your pocket though. Buying every album as a hard-copy? I'd like to do that, but I'll be needing a job first. That's for sure.

Yeah it's pretty solid, but I'm still more partial to some Badu.

Most file sharing is illegal already. There will always be ways to beat the system with the Internet.

And the prices add up, but I figure I owe it to the people who make up a major part of my life.

Oh yeah, I absolutely love Erykah. New Amerykah Part 2 is definitely comparable to ArchAndroid. I've just been listening to ArchAndroid for the past couple of days, and I've been absolutely blown away. The two of them are actually on tour together with N.E.R.D. Probably gonna go see her in D.C. on Friday.

xo of diamond district - i got doe

    http://www.2dopeboyz.com/2010/05/24/...ict-i-got-doe/

I absolutely love anything diamond district does... Xo is sick.. even though the title of this song is "i got doe" its kinda misleading. this song is another good, not great song, but Diamond District absolutely runs DC right now.

Nice response, Buckwheat. And you just inspired me to go out and actually buy CD's after I've listened to them. Oh-Tay!

I think for Christmas, I'm going to ask for gift card's to Best-Buy, or somewhere, and stock up on every Eminem album. I've got Relapse, but I'm ashamed I don't own hard-copies of the other ones. The Marshall Mathers LP was so old, at Target, that they only had the little booklet, as the cover, instead of the real one.

The booklet with this on it was the front cover : http://www.ecr.co.za/kagiso/media_st...ges/eminem.jpg

    Haha, almost picked it up.
