And I doubt gardner ever hits over .285 (which for a 9th hitter is perfectly fine with me).
Btw it's impossible to vote against someone. You can not vote for them but being a Yankee = more fans = more votes. Also, if Arod has even a decent season, he'll be starting third base, that's just how it goes.

I think Gardner is playing way over his head right now.
Let's discuss this at the end of the season, or after the Yankees win the WS.

superstar? doubtful, but I do thinkk he'll make a few all star games in his career and will be on a few championship teams if he stays in NY

I was hoping Gardner would become Jacob Ellsbury. That seems to be a possibility.

    He's slugging .438

Anyway, not a superstar, but he can be a damn good player. No reason he can't sit at .310/.390/.420 with very good defense in the future, just needs to keep improving.

meanwhile, somewhere in Boston, Ellsbury is hoping to someday be hitting as good as Brett Gardner.

Gardner's ceiling is a CF that could start on 20 other teams in the bigs... superstar is a major reach though.

Nope....decent enough to have a good long career but take him off of the yankee roster and he is still nothing special
